SUMMARY:Certificate of Completion in Ecospirituality: Environmental Pathways to Healing Information Session
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an information session to learn more about the Graduate Theological Union and our recently announced Certificate of Completion for Ecospirituality: Environmental Pathways to Healing. This event will be held from 2:00 – 2:45 PM Pacific Time via Zoom. Register here. \nThe Graduate Theological Union is the most comprehensive center for the graduate study of religion in North America. With a focus on interreligious and interdisciplinary perspectives\, GTU faculty and students engage the world’s great religions and wisdom traditions in contemporary contexts. The GTU educates innovative leaders for the academy\, religious organizations\, and the nonprofit sector\, equipping scholars to embody the critical thinking\, ethical frameworks\, compassionate values\, and spiritual foundations essential to building a more just\, peaceful\, and sustainable world. \nGTUx’s Certificate of Completion for Ecospirituality: Environmental Pathways to Healing is a professional development program that weaves together our spiritual connection to the natural world and planetary sustainability efforts. In this GTUx program\, Dr. Rita Sherma offers insights from her research and invites guest speakers to discuss how we might newly define the relationship between the Earth and spirituality. \nThis information session will provide an in-depth overview into the certificate and give you the chance to ask your questions to our experts. We hope to see you there! \nIf you have any questions about this event\, reach out to the event organizer Ben Woehler via email at bwoehler@gtu.edu
